Improved Hastings LF462 Lube Filter for Acura Legends | |

Hastings Filters, Inc. is pleased to introduce the new LF462 lube filter for Acura Legend applications. The new LF462 will replace the previous LF237 on these applications. The LF462 design utilizes many of the design features of the Honda 15400-PL2-305 original equipment filter. These features include overall length, filter diameter and baseplate configuration.
The design of the baseplate on the LF462 gives the filter an increased safety factor for installation by |
increasing the distance from the gasket to the baseplate.
The LF462 is approximately 5/8 of an inch shorter than the LF237 filter and utilizes a thicker canister for added strength. The drawing below exhibits the differences between the previous LF237 design and the new design of the LF462. The LF462 will be available for orders after May 1, 1997. We look forward to supplying you with the new LF462. |
